The online course goes beyond the minumum required by the state and satisfies the requiremnts for a CHL application. It includes a section on aspects of practical self-defense in addition to the legally required handgun safety component.

The course takes about 40 minutes to complete. There are seven sections, corresponding to the handgun safety and practical self-defense components of the full course.

I would suggest supplementing this training by looking through the material in the links section and reading the CHL Process section.

Should you decide after enrolling for the online course that you would prefer the full course, full credit will be given against the price of the full course, even if you have completed the online training.

The cost is $10. To access this course, click on the payment button below. After payment is processed (usually within seconds) you will receive an email including a URL to access the training site and credentials to login. After taking the course you will be able to download a personalized certificate of course completion to use when applying for your CHL.

If no email is received after payment is processed, please check your SPAM folder, and if nothing is there, contact me for your login and password.

You may leave the training at any point and return later to complete the training. It will re-start at the beginning of the last section that you were working on when you left.

Once you have completed the course you can reprint your certificate at any time by logging back in and clicking the print certificate link.
